Terrible twos, here we come!

Children grow up too fast. One day I was folding Raisa’s T-shirt the size of my hand and the next thing i know…she’s playing with the same T-shirt and put it on her favorite Minnie Mouse doll!!LOL!! She’s a big girl now and that’s why it’s so important for me to commemorate every different steps of her life’s path.

I’ve always wanted to host a Vintage Circus Party so I did! This is not an episode of Super Sweet 16 Party so I kept it on minimal budget.We did it at home and most works were done by me,myself and I (we can’t afford to hire a party planner)

Oh boy..this is going to be a long entry so please bear with me.

It took me almost 2 months to plan just about everything. Yeah, It was a hard work but I enjoyed doing it…anything for my loved ones!

#1 on my checklist was Raisa’s pre-Birthday photo shoot for her invitation, backdrop, welcome signage etc. Raisa was lucky when a close friend of mine had just launched a photography studio called Mytoddlerphotos.com(MTP). It was a great and fun experience for us! MTP did a fantastic job and trust me their charges are way below market price…so worth it!!http://mytoddlerphotos.com

Next on my checklist was to get the vintage circus props for the candy table. The search began with me going to the high-end party shop but the funny part was I ended up getting myself the clown wood claw at a hardware shop in Jusco AU2 for only RM2 each!!Soooo Cool !!El cheapo!!

For Creative Works & Prints, I once again appointed Creative Genius Printable http://creativegeniusprints.com They did a great job for Raisa’s first birthday so I know I can never go wrong with them! It does worth the money spend!

This fantastic Siti Raisa Imani (SRI) Two Ring Circus Cake is made by http://rizqcakes.blogspot.com/ Delish and not too sweet!A Perfect cake for toddlers!

To me a birthday party is not just about the kids,it’s for the parents too so i made this plastic container with Raisa Thank You Label as a doorgift for both kids and parents. I did this all by myself…spend almost two nights on this. It’s a candy container to load the free flow candies at the party!!

#6 on my checklist is the FUN time=Toys toys and toys…by recommendations’ from a friend, Playlend.com offers the best selection of toys rental…the cheapest so far in town.http://playlend.com/ I got the inflatable, the pony arcade and the Choo Choo train!!It was a blast!!The kids had so much fun!!
